  • Koh Larn Beaches

A quick description of the beaches on Koh Larn. All can be accessed by either Tuk Tuk or Motorbike Taxi, if you want to rent your own motorbike just ask at reception or when you make your booking.

    Samae Beach

The beach with a bit of life but not too much

This beach is located on the west side of the island and can be accessed via tuk tuk or motorbike taxi. It is possible to walk there if you like a good hike. The beach is around 2km long and has some very good restaurants stretched out along its length and although it's quite commercialised it still has a quiet tranquil feel about it.

    Nual Beach

    Come and feed the monkeys

This beach is also known as Monkey Beach for obvious reasons. Again its accessible via Tuk Tuk or motorbike taxi.and i s about 3km away from the two main piers on the island.. Its quite a small beach popular with younger people. The monkeys live on the top of the hill at the eastern end of the beach. We would not recommend getting too close as these are wild animals and they do bite and scratch on occasion...keep your bananas well hidden on this beach!

    Tawaen Beach

If you like hustle and bustle this is the beach for you!

This is by far the busiest beach by far with more than 100 speedboats a day dropping the package tours for a quick buffet and a banana boat. if people watching is your thing then head for Tawaen Beach....you wont be disappointed...

    Had Ta Yai beach

The small beach with an exclusive feel

This private beach is only a few hundred meters long but does not get too busy and has a surprisingly exclusive feel about it. There is a small bar and restaurant there which is well designed and aesthetically pleasing. its a great place to swim and chill out with a cocktail on one of the very comfortable sun loungers..
